Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA) has decided to set up facilitation centres in the offices of District Co-ordination Officers (DCOs) across the province to facilitate taxpayers and enhance the tax net. This was disclosed by the PRA Chairperson Iftikhar Qutab while addressing the second seminar of a series being arranged by the Authority to create awareness amongst the DCOs about working of the Authority and its legal framework.

The seminar was held in the PRA head office here on Saturday in which DCOs from 18 districts of the province participated. PRA Chairperson Iftikhar Qutab briefed the participants about the sales tax on services in Punjab and the method of the Authority to recover this tax. Iftikhar stated that every well-to-do person should pay tax and said that the revenue of the province could be enhanced by making the tax recovery process transparent.
